Lytton Park fine Tudor and Georgian homes date from the period between 1890 and 1930. Detached residences sit on large lots and mature trees shade the neighbourhood's streets. The few semi-detached homes are mostly of recent construction.
Lytton Park homes' original features include hardwood floors, fireplaces and leaded glass windows. Many residences have been renovated to modern standards, while preserving their original charm.
Lytton Park recreational facilities include tennis courts and lawn bowling club. In the winter, artificial ice rinks are open in Otter Creek park. A nature trail passes through the Chatsworth Ravine and provides access to Lawrence Park, Blythwood Ravine and Sherwood Park. Lytton Park, which gives name to the community, is hidden in a deep valley, sheltered from the nearby Avenue Road traffic by trees and the terrain configuration.
