It is hard when you have to relocate within your own country, but it is even harder when you are posted abroad to another continent representing your country with 4 children between the ages of 4 and 13!

We found her web browsing through the Internet and never thought to find such an efficient and wonderful person. She answered all our mails and international telephone calls, even on Sundays. She was patient with us at the beginning when we weren't sure of what we wanted. She helped us clarify our ideas and as soon as we told her what we wanted she found it for us, visiting even the schools in the area of our choice in order to make sure that our children would be accepted there.
She scheduled the visits we needed on our preparatory trip to Toronto in order to check out the houses to lease and went out of her way in order to help us reach a decision. For example we found ourselves invited on a Sunday to check out the prices on appliances and homeware!
She negotiated the leasing contract all in our best interest , so that our 10 day trip was a complete success. We couldn't believe we had a house and schools ready in July for the arrival in September of the whole family to Toronto! She even took us to Canadian Tire to buy inflatable beds so that we can minimize our hotel stay at our arrival, and is safekeeping them for us...
You really are the BEST, Marisha, and not only professionally. We feel very lucky to count on you and your husband Eli among our first good friends in Toronto !!

Marisha is probably the best real estate agent I have come across. I found her through an internet search and from the moment I received her email I can say she has been an outstanding professional.
She promptly responds to phone calls and emails and is very knowledgeable. We recently purchased a condo and wanted to lease it. She met with us for our pre-delivery inspection and pointed out some items we may have missed. She promptly listed our unit and had several responses.
It was leased in 1 and 1/2 weeks from the time she listed it! We can't thank you enough. I feel very lucky that we found you.
Marisha certainly goes above and beyond in helping her clients. We live out of town, and she was kind enough to coordinate the measurement of our windows for installing our blinds.
She is a wonderful person who truly cares about her clients.
I just wanted to say WOW! Your site is amazing. I am a technical person and I appreciate seeing numbers and the thought you have given to the investment aspect of a home. As much as loving the place is important - making a a sound investment is as much so.
I recently bought my first home and felt that I did most of the 'technical' research on the status of the home. I had two home inspections done and learned a lot from them - I learned that my agent should have been able to point out some of the major problems before I invested the time and money of inspectors. Money well spent in the end since I learned a lot in the process.
My thought is still that I paid too much for my house (multiple offers)and I wish that I could say that I had nerves of steel throughout the process, but I didn't. I kept looking for numbers to support my agent's recommended price and felt that there weren't enough. One thing that I wish that I had known at the time was that you pay under 200$ to have an appraisal done on a property prior to submitting your offer. I hated feeling like I had to negociate with my own agent to clarify and justify the offer amount...
I love the house and am happy, but I wish that I had received the kind of information on your site from my agent. I have bookmarked your site and will certainly keep you in mind for the future!

How do we thank you for the quick sale of our house? Only 5 days! Indeed, it does seem to be a buyers market but the first week is so important. As soon as we called to ask you to sell our house, you visited us and began to explain your plan for the sale and then you carefully explained your commitment to us.
You established a just price by looking at previous sales and then visiting several properties in the area. We were pleasantly surprised at its value.
Next you took photos and cropped them to show our house to its best advantage and then wrote a beautiful description of the property. Quickly you put all this on the internet.
There were 4 open houses, 2 for the public and 2 for agents .... even an agent's breakfast! Also you posted all the showings on your web page so that we would know the status of the sale at all times.
There were a lot of agents and individuals visiting and IMAGINE, in just FIVE days we had 2 offers and we actually got a little above our asking price. What a wonderful ending.
We realize that this did not happen by accident. It has been the result of a logical plan, executed on time and oh, so much hard work.

In July 1996 I was hired as a professor in the department of Political Science at the University of Toronto. At the time my wife and I were living in Vancouver, with out two children and my wife expecting the third. Neither one of us was familiar with Toronto, nor did we have any family or friends in the city.
From the time we arrived in Toronto Marisha helped us with every aspect of our relocation. She ensured that we were comfortable in a temporary housing arrangement, inquired about our needs and desires in a very thoughtful manner, and then proceeded to work diligently to find us a suitable house within our means. Both of us found Marisha to be very thoughtful, courteous, and extremely generous with her time. She went out of her way to make us feel at home in a strange new city, introducing us to interesting neighbourhoods, showing us the way around town, informing us of entertainment and events, and even helping to find a beautiful turkey for a Thanksgiving dinner!
We found her very proficient in locating a wide range of houses for us to view, and enormously patient of our indecision.
