Robert Watson Lofts
Robert Watson candy factory at 363 Sorauren Avenue conversion to hard lofts was completed in late November 2007. At the back of the original factory a soft lofts building was constructed at 369 Sorauren. The two buildings contain 153 flats and two storey units.
Loft features include 10 to 16-feet ceiling heights, original wood beams and columns, polished concrete floors, exposed spiral ductwork, patios, balconies and terraces and wood ceilings in the original part of the building.
Loft sizes range from 550 to over 1500 sq.ft. Original building has a true factory feel with exposed brick, wood ceilings (metal ceilings in penthouses), and large arched windows in ground floor lofts facing Sorauren. Many of the units in both buildings have polished concrete floors.
Since the completion of construction in late 2007, 199 loft units have been sold on MLS, 107 in 363 Sorauren and 92 in 369 Sorauren.
