Toronto condo sales activity 2003 to 2005
January 18, 2006. Toronto condominium market has been in high gear in the last few years. Toronto south-central area, west of Yonge, where recently major developments have taken place, is, by far, the busiest condo marketplace in all of central Toronto, followed by C14 - an area north of the 401, between Yonge and Bayview, and C08 - the south-east part of downtown Toronto.
There are many new condominium buildings being constructed, many of them along the railway corridor in C01, and south of Queen east of Yonge, in C08.
The following two graphs illustrate condo apartment and townhouse sales in central Toronto, west of Yonge.
Downtown Toronto east (C08) is third with respect to number of condominium units sold in Toronto. Condo apartment and townhouse sales are illustrated on the following two graphs.
Average prices of downtown condo apartments, monthly and yearly, are illustrated on the three graphs below.
