For more than a century Rosedale has been considered Toronto's most fashionble neighbourhood. It is home to many of Toronto's most prominent and wealthiest residents. Rosedale is blessed with an outstanding location. Rosedale Park, located off Sholfield Avenue, has a sports field, eight tennis courts, a wading pool and artificial ice rink. Community centre at 146 Crescent Road offers, for a small annual fee, sports, fitness, arts and music programs for children and adults.

These residences sold at prices ranging from $580,000 for a 3-apartment home in need of renovation to $5,250,000 for a restored 3-storey home on a fantastic 50 by 195 feet lot. A 2-bedroom cottage listed at $995,000 was sold on the appointed day for $1,110,000 - the highest percentage over asking in Rosedale in 2006. An impressive, modern home on Douglas Crescent took 295 days to sell, but was sold eventually at 98% of the reduced price, and 88% of the original asking price. A unique, unusual home often takes longer to find a buyer.

Two duplexes were sold for $905,000 and $966,000, and a renovated 3-bedroom townhouse sold for $1,250,000.
